Fitter: utility lines

What you learn with us.

Fitters specialising in utility lines work in the field of gas and plumbing technology. They install gas and water supply pipelines in new builds, during renovations of old buildings, and in the public gas and water supply network. They cut iron, steel, copper and plastic pipes to size, and create joints by welding, brazing, screwing, plastic welding, gluing or plugging. They lay the pipes in the ground, in walls or in the open.

Vocational school: 10 weeks/year
